FIFA Digital Skills Fosters Knowledge Exchange Between FMF and KNVB

During the two-day visit, Marisol and Karla explored key topics such as innovation, fan engagement, Data & AI, and women’s football. It was truly inspiring to see how, despite operating in different contexts, FMF and KNVB share both unique perspectives and common goals in advancing football.

The visit concluded with a presentation and tour of the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, followed by the Nations League match between the Netherlands and Germany—a perfect end to a productive and insightful trip.

As Mexico prepares to co-host the 2026 World Cup with the United States and Canada, the insights gained by FMF from this visit will be instrumental in their preparations. Equally, the KNVB benefitted from the exchange, learning from Mexico’s innovative approaches to several key areas of football.
